It is very interesting how humanity has linked love to the lack of freedom. I think that when you find love, it is because you have become so free that you were able to truly find it. Love is a wild and running thing. Only the free can find what is wild and running. You become so free, that you are able to truly love. A life of bondage is a life lived without love.

All the things that people do in order to show that they don't need anybody... meanwhile, all they really want to do is say, "Please keep me." We all want to be kept. The problem is we are too afraid to let anyone know about it. What are these fragile things in our hearts that have so much fear of being broken?

Some people are capable of giving so much more love, so much more warmth, so much more generosity and affection. It's hard to be those people. Nobody can meet you there, in that place, where you radiate with sunlight. Who can love the Sun, the way that it loves the Earth?

Some people are the Sun. They radiate warmth and light just because they're filled with that fire. The Sun must feel sad, sometimes, when nothing can do the same for it. Because all around are cold stars, dark planets, nothing is as warm.

Life is so short, and love is so big. Too big for life! That's why, when you love someone, they'd better know it. You'd better tell them. Love is meant for that, love is not meant to be hidden.

Don’t fall in love with the idea of someone being in love with you; fall in love with a person. Don’t fall in love with the idea of being in love with someone else; fall in love with a person. Don’t fall in love with a concept, an idea, a theory... don’t fall in love with a list on a paper. Fall in love with a person. Always, always, it must be the person.

Marry the person who makes you feel like you can face life together. Because that's what it's about. It's about facing life together.
