If someone were to ask 'us', "Have you incurred a loss this year?" Then 'we' would answer, "No sir, we have not incurred a loss, the business has incurred a loss!" And when a profit is made, 'we' say, "The business has made a profit." 'We' never have a profit or loss.

Display these signs in your shop: 1) Enjoy that which you receive - Do not worry about that which you have not received. 2) Fault is of the sufferer. 3) Dishonesty is the best foolishness!

God does not interfere in business at all. In business, only these two will be helpful: your expertise and your ethical standards. With unethical standards, you may get a good return for a year or two, but after that you will incur a loss. If you eventually feel remorse when something wrong happens, even then you will become free (from bondage of karma).

In business, do not take anything that does not rightfully belong to you. The day you end up taking anything that is not rightfully yours, from that day your business will not prosper.

Just maintain such an intent, 'It will be great if customers come!' Thereafter, do not strain yourself in vain. To maintain regularity and to not spoil your intent is considered relative effort. If customers do not come, then you should not get upset and if someday they come by the truck load, then you should satisfy everyone.

When you slander someone [talk negatively about people], you earn a debit in your account and that person will earn a credit. Who would do these kinds of business?

Everyone maintains hope for profit only. No person ever maintains hope for a loss. For one year, at least run (your business) with the hope for a loss. If you incur a loss, then understand that your hope has been fulfilled! 'We' maintain a hope for loss, 'we' do not do as everyone does.

One needs to have tremendous courage to do business. If courage is lost, then the businesss will fail.

People are going out to earn when circumstances are not favourable. Actually, that is when they should do devotional worship (bhakti).
