Life has a tendency to provide a person with what they need in order to grow. Our beliefs, what we value in life, provide the roadmap for the type of life that we experience. A period of personal unhappiness reveals that our values are misplaced and we are on the wrong path. Unless a person changes their values and ideas, they will continue to experience discontentment.

Self-transformation commences with a period of self-questioning. Questions lead to more questions, bewilderment leads to new discoveries, and growing personal awareness leads to transformation in how a person lives. Purposeful modification of the self only commences with revising our mind’s internal functions. Revamped internal functions eventually alter how we view our external environment.

The human mind’s innate ability to imagine and create ensures that we never remain stalled out in who we are. We constantly seek to amend our circumference and circumstances, craft and redraft our emotional, social, political, economic, and artistic being.

Transfiguration of the self is painful since it represents sprouting downy wings that give flight to a battered soul.

Our life is an unfinished manuscript; we constantly edit our evolving composition.

The projected vision in the mind’s eye of a person’s conceptual self represents a self-edited photocomposition. Our conceived self consists of an admixture of facts gleaned from the residue of yesteryear’s reality imposed over a bed of surreal images.

Self-analysis requires reconsideration of who we think we are. Self-awareness requires us to reassess where we came from and where we are going.

We are conscious beings always experimenting with the mystery of becoming our ultimate manifestation.

In our contemplative moments, if our silence is deep enough, we can identify our authentic ringtone pinging within audible range of the calamitous roar of all humanity. If we can hear our authentic voice penetrating the turmoil of a fretful night, rest assured that despite the traumatic turmoil, blood-curdling trauma, and incessant greed that frames these trying times, when death snatches us away from earthly fields the villagers will hear the salvo of that silvery bell knelling for thee.
