If we see the universe as a whole, nothing is changing in it. The scenes of the past are still there in the past. The scenes of future are already there in the future. You, the soul, are passing through them and experiencing the illusion of change. Karma gives you the fuel, Desires give you direction. If you didn't have any Karma or Desires, you would just float in eternity.

If you like a wild horse, you have to let it be in the wild. If you bring it to your stable, it becomes a domesticated horse. It loses all its essence.You like things and people. You try to make them your own. After too much struggle, when they become your own, they lose their essence. Then you like new things and the endless circle continues...

If this happens in my life, I will live happily thereafter.' No. This will give happiness only for a few days. Then things will be same again and you will pin your hopes of happiness on something else. Learn to live the present moment.

If there is a diamond hidden in some drawer at your home, perhaps you won’t notice until next festive cleaning. If it’s in a hotel room. you will find it immediately after check-in. You are in the illusion that your body, family. home, office etc. are yours. Because of this illusion of ownership, you are missing so many diamonds that God has given you. See everything from the eyes of a guest, not owner.

You buy a personal jet. It's good. But soon you realize that it has a huge maintenance cost. Now you can't decide whether to keep it or sell it. This is Maya. Everything in Maya has huge maintenance cost.

When we are telling something about others, we are telling a lot about ourselves too. "The Sun rises and sets each day." This sounds like a statement about the Sun. But it is actually a statement about us, about our planet. It tells that we and our planet is moving, not the Sun.

Looking from a distance, we find something attractive and excitedly commit to it. When we come near, we find it unbearable. Then we have to continue with it because we have already committed to it.Everything in Maya (Time-Space) is like that. You current status in life is something your younger self would find very attractive. It looked exciting from the distance of Time. Now it’s not.

When you know that you are not in control, everything will feel under control. When you are in the illusion that you are in control, everything will go out of control and you will struggle to maintain your illusion.

Nobody is listening to you. Your dialogue is just a cue for them to say their dialogue, and act their part. If everyone plays their part well, you feel that it’s all real. Be grateful to the bad actors who ruined this illusion for you and turned you inward.
