My mom did a really good job teaching me about sunscreen. She's savvy when it comes to all things moisturizing and wrinkle-preventing. Even early on as a kid, I thought to myself, Why do I need to do this? I don't have wrinkles. I'm a child. But my mom was in the preventative mind-set and that helped me.

Well, as I got older and started using makeup, I wanted to use something lightweight under my makeup that wouldn't clog my pores. So I get up in the morning, brush my teeth, wash my face, and do my whole routine. Sunscreen is the first thing I put on before I put on my makeup.

I had no idea what I was doing. We all went in the early 2000s. Needless to say, I don't go anymore. If I need a quick fix, I get a spray tan - though it's never a good idea for me with my fair skin.

On 'Nip/Tuck,' I was a Nazi, so basically for, like, six months. I went into this place where I was wearing a lot of black. Everyone has a dark side, and I can channel that.
