He was a brilliant 2-year-old in my opinion. He's a bigger-looking colt, and he's done better at 3. He's filled out more and he's gotten taller.

He didn't turn a hair, and there was a lot of action going on in there at the time, especially around the walking ring. He's never usually much of a problem in the paddock, but it never hurts to school just a bit.

He did everything right except win. He broke sharp and (Prado) rode him like he was supposed to. He let the horse (Keyed Entry) go on and took a shot and just couldn't get to him.

I thought he answered a big question today about whether he could go a mile and one-eighth and it might give some of his doubters a little more faith. He's been chasing speed for the last year and today he relaxed quite a bit, then had to start going again when bothered in the stretch, which is a good sign. I thought my horse ran a very good race. He showed a lot of courage. I've been on both sides of that fence when the inquiry comes. It's a tough loss, but it was our day.

I thought my horse ran a very good horse. He showed a lot of courage. He was impeded a little bit. He's never been at two turns before. He was a one-turn horse. It was a very good race and we got him to relax. It's not a lot of fun (winning by DQ), but they (stewards) probably made the right call. I've been on both sides of the call.

I thought he worked well. I think he came out of his last race as good as a horse could come out of a race like that, especially considering it was his first start off the bench and they ran fast over a fast racetrack. He hasn't missed an oat and has been very sharp since the race.
