What about inner productivity? Don’t you consider it worthy or relevant at all? We are all too focused on the outer world. But what about our mind? What about the world that exists inside us?

You can’t change the system unless you know it well. You can’t play chess well unless you know all the moves.

Funny, isn’t it? We middle-class people secretly want that the poor should remain poor, as poverty is a necessary condition for an easy supply of servants. Yet out in the open, we pretend that the penury of the masses concerns us deeply. We hide who we are and wear masks. All of us.

After having everything, a rich man seeks applause and reverence, for there is guilt in his mind. The guilt of having everything in this world.

Yes, his reputation is tainted. But which leader in this world doesn’t have a tainted reputation? Power is not a good thing. And the ones who wield it can never please all the people no matter how good their intentions are. Only a candy seller can please everyone.

You know, having a child changes everything. The father starts loving the soul-sucking job he so detested. The mother begins to find the daily mundane tasks she is assigned as pleasurable. Parents realize that they are accountable to their kid. They, therefore, do things out of responsibility and not out of one’s liking for it.

Too much elite education renders a person unpractical. And tell you what? The highly educated people are further away from reality than the less educated ones. I would rather rely on the opinion of a less educated poor person who constantly deals with people, than an overly educated idiot who views this world only through an academic lens while sitting alone on his comfy couch.

You see, this is the thing about this world. When it comes to politicians, people always forget.

I personally feel that karma yoga makes much more sense if one is seeking transcendence. We weren’t thrown in this world just to deny and run away from it. A man must be a doer and not an escapist.
