Each citizen must become a government unto themselves - each citizen must become law unto themselves. In other words, each citizen must become a living constitution unto themselves, with the emphasis on living, which means ever-evolving and never-rigid. Be an example of growth in the world and the world will start to grow around you out of its disparities, biases and prejudices.

The constitutional right of today may be a violation of human rights tomorrow, hence, no constitution, and in fact, no text is to be taken as gospel… they must be scrutinized by each new generation and if found incompatible with the new society, must be either amended or discarded altogether.

If you treat the constitution the same way fundamentalists treat the bible, you are going to have a very sick society on your hands.

If an immigrant's daughter can become the vice-president of our United States, then the day is not far that even an immigrant can become the president - of course it'll require further amendments to the constitution, but that day our sweet land of liberty will truly be an advanced nation on earth.

Laws, policies and amendments are not going to ensure justice in the human society, unless the humans - each human - all humans, uphold justice with utmost courage, care and conscience in their daily walks of life.

Government is not devoid of flaws, law is not devoid of flaws, constitution is not devoid of flaws - because the human society that gave rise to all these societal apparatus in an attempt to build a civilized world, was itself in the making. And the fact of the matter is, we still are in the making. We may call ourselves human, but we are yet to become one.

No constitution in the world is worth more than human life.
