There has been more bloodshed in the name of God than for any other cause. And it is all because people never attempt to reach the fountain-head. They are content only to comply with the customs of their forefathers and instructions on some books, and want others to do the same. But, to explain God after merely reading the scriptures is like explaining the city of New York after seeing it only in a map.

If only we the genuine humans had the real guts, and sense of real responsibility to act as the holy warriors on our own original beliefs and principles, then we wouldn’t see any trace of terrorism in the world whatsoever, religious or otherwise.

Killing terrorists doesn't end terrorism, it only postpones it. To end terrorism we have to end inequality.

Terror has no nationality, it has no religion, it has no gender - its nationality is ignorance, its religion is bigotry, its gender is intolerance.

This is what nationalism does. It blinds you to rational arguments that may threaten the integrity of your nation's image, just like fundamentalism blinds you to rational arguments that may threaten the integrity of your religion's image. It's a smoke screen created by the mind and sustained by the mind by means of sentiments which are mostly biases in action, set in motion to protect your barbaric allegiance to your little tribe.

Acts of terror committed by a government is still terrorism.
