If your own cultural identity is more important to you than unification of the world, then the world will remain segregated for the rest of time, but if you can truly, actually, genuinely aim towards the unification of the world even at the cost of your own identity, then not only we'll create a world of peace and assimilation, but also, in that world there will be place for all identities, with none of them being superior or inferior to any of them.

Yesterday's truth made people nationalist, today's truth makes people globalist, tomorrow's truth will make people human.

In a civilized world there is no my people and your people, it's all one people.

One who is empty of all labels, contains the whole humanity in their chest.

Everybody knows that the world lacks harmony, but the question is, what do they do about it - all they do is talk, talk and talk, without realizing. It's of no use to talk of harmony, you must live harmony - and to live harmony, you must abandon all barriers that keep you from it, including those that you hold most dear.

Sectarianism is tribalism, be it religious, political, ethnic, educational or any other form.

The fundamentalists take pride in the exclusive supremacy of their own scriptures, the nationalists take pride in the exclusive greatness of their own national heritage, the so-called intellectuals take pride in the exclusive glory of their own field of work. And pride in one thing inadvertently brings along either subconscious or conscious condescension towards all other things belonging to other people.

Remembering the martyrs and honoring the armed forces on veterans day may make you feel proud, but sustaining a tradition that conditions you to celebrate the loss of life in the name of patriotism is not something to take pride in - if anything this celebration is a brutal reminder of tribalism - of our shortfalls - of our inability to assimilate - of our failure in becoming truly civilized. Therefore, the need of the hour is, we work so that we no longer need a veterans day.

Either we are alive and human or we are dead and tribal.
