I often ask myself: "Is this helping or harming me?" when looking at what I am doing, or about to do. It really helps to guide me towards a better path through life.

If only people put as much energy into helping people as they do into creating drama.

The quality of your life is directly related to the quality of your thoughts. Is a thought helpful or harmful? You have the power to change your thoughts and mental habits. Awareness and action are the keys.

Patterns will keep repeating until you recognize them and take action towards changing them. What are the patterns of your life? Are they helping or hindering you? Address those patterns which are holding you back. If you want a different outcome, you need to change what you are doing.

If you want to learn to be OK with your suffering, help others with theirs.
