If you want something new or different, you must prepare to receive something new or different. Break routine, do something different, venture out of your comfort zone. Practice letting something new or different into your life.

Recognizing the truth about ourselves is the starting point of all change.

The quality of your life is directly related to the quality of your thoughts. Is a thought helpful or harmful? You have the power to change your thoughts and mental habits. Awareness and action are the keys.

You can't predict the future, but you can prepare yourself for change.

Sometimes, you will act because you realize you must. Other times, you will face a choice. The choice is always the same: Attempt to stay where you are or move forward. But, the choice ‘to stay where you are’ never truly exists. Everything changes. Change is inevitable. The only difference is whether you make the decision of what you will do next, or whether life or circumstances will make that decision for you. Either way, the decision will always be made.

Your belief in something better has to be greater than your comfort with the old.

The more adaptable to change you become, the more you practice acting with fear and without courage, the less those will be a distraction to you. Instead of being clouded by fear, worry, and stress, you will be able to see beyond. You will see new opportunities, new potential, both in the moment and in yourself. You will no longer stand in your own way. You will no longer be allowing fear to confine your potential.

We won't grow and learn, doing what we've always done, and thinking what we've always thought. We need to move beyond our comfort zones. We need to engage with new and different if we want to expand ourselves.

You can predict only one outcome with certainty: Everything will change. Every other preconception you may have about what could or will happen will just serve to color your experience. Follow intent with action. Do your best. Allow yourself to be. Go with the flow. Most importantly: Allow yourself to enjoy the journey.
