Sometimes it only takes one person to believe in you to change your life forever. Sometimes it only takes one person not believing in you to destroy it.

Things have changed since we were children, perhaps not as much as we might have liked, but the world is a different place. Faster, louder, lonelier. Unlike the world around us, we haven't changed at all, not really. History is a mirror and we're all just older versions of ourselves; children disguised as adults.

We rarely deserve the lives we lead. We pay for them however we can, be it with money, guilt or regret.

The world keeps on spinning, repeating itself over and over until something changes, which it doesn't because we can't.

Funny how often life seems to work in reverse. We were children masquerading as adults and now we are adults acting like children.
