Life can be tough sometimes. But I think it just starts with admitting, 'Okay, the world's not perfect, how do we live our lives within that and not be miserable?'

I think it's important to realize that we're all just human. I mean, nobody is supernatural.

Success gave me confidence as an artist. And now I'm able to do what I want without anybody thinking it's dumb.

If all we ever sang about was how happy we are, we would be lying to ourselves. People try to escape their problems by getting drunk, partying and dancing them away. What really heals me is to sit down and think, face the facts, then you can get over it and be happy
