When one rotten apple is exposed to ones that are not, it will causethe fruit to ripen faster and eventually rot. This is because as apples ripen,they give off a hormone in a gaseous form called ethylene which is acatalyst for ripening fruit. So too, life, when you are surrounded by peoplewho have a bad influence on you, their negative energy will sooner or later affect you.

Speak your truth and live your truth.

You don’t have to seek for anything or anyone to feel complete, happy, loved, worthy, seen, fulfilled. Everything you are searching for is within yourself, everything is inside of you. Your one and only job is to uncover it and to reconnect to it. No matter what happens in your life, you have the power to choose how you will react to them. Don’t be a volunteer victim, and don’t struggle willingly.

When freedom is the goal, responsibleness is the way. One cannot exist without another.

Mindfulness is to train your awareness to be focused on your present moment and on whatever you are doing in the present moment and nothing else.

The only thing that is given to you that you have control over is yourself. You have one body, one soul, one mind throughout your whole life, and you have to take good care of it in order to fully function. Taking care of these big three: mind, body, and soul is the def- inition of self-care for me.
