Ninety percent of the people don't realize that there is anything below the head. They think that the head is carried around by something very mysterious, and they're not aware that it's the body, something they should be in tune with.

I think Americans are very patriotic.

I think that every job that you can save is important. Every job that you can create is very important and it should not be the number one reason why we invest in infrastructure to create jobs.

I don't walk away from things that I think are unfinished.

I think the first and most important thing is that you've got to have a goal and a vision.

To go in the direction that I went takes a lot of work. And I don't think you can do the work - the five or six hours of working out a day - if you don't have a clear goal or know why you're doing it. If you just hang out at the gym and train for five or six hours a day without a goal is almost impossible.

I do not make decisions [as governor] based on what have I learned through my Bible studies, what have I learned in my religious classes in school. I'm a big believer in separation of church and state, and I think that's what . . . the law is.

Those public employee union bosses think they already control the legislators, they already control everyone up there in Sacramento, and now, because they have the money, they want to control all of you, .. They want to raise your taxes. It's all going in that direction -- raising your taxes. But I'm here as your warrior, remember that. I want to protect you.

I think most of my lessons come from sports. That's why I always emphasise to young kids to get involved in sports because it's where you learn about discipline. It's where you learn to keep going, where if you think you can't make it, you can.
