When I met her, she was going through a depression in life. She was not able to find her purpose in life. She would smile on the outside, but inside she was going through myriad difficulties. I don't know what it was about me that made her tell me about her thoughts. May be she felt that I could understand her. Writers and poets are expected to understand the perspectives of other people. And I was a writer and wanderer, never staying at one place for long.

Wherever I may be your thoughts will be with me.

Then you remember that you are a poet and wanderer whose life resembles that of a soldier. And you wait eagerly for the holidays to go home and get the hugs from your two Sweethearts.

The remains of the fire, still smoldering inside your heart, will be keeping you warm this winter. But, I am the wanderer. And I have moved on.

Riding on the streets of loneliness I drift on roads that take me on unknown paths I have become the wanderer again in search of an ineffable nothingness...

She did not choose to become a wanderer.She did not take a conscious decision that she wants to become a wanderer.Destiny chose her to wander. And then she became a wanderer. The wanderings keep on happening on their own. And the wanderer keeps on wandering!The wanderer does not have a final home. She does not have a certain destination.She keeps on drifting from place to place. And wanderings become her destiny! And she becomes the wanderer!
