you ask me whether you are making inroads into my space and time. you ask me whether you are imposing yourself on me. and I smile and reflect that the moon knows how alone I have been all these years...

Poetry always makes sense. Nothing else does.

Whenever I look into her eyes, my typewriter starts typing poems for her!

You may not be talking with each other. But that does not mean that you have stopped caring for her. She is capable of taking decisions for herself. She is capable of facing life all by herself. You want her to be free. You want her to find her own way. Just once in a while, let her know that you still care for her.

Some poems write themselves.

They chased money, fast cars, and business empires.And all I ever wanted was to stare at the stars in the night and write poetry!
