We cannot imagine a life without poetry. Poetry lights the fire in our hearts. Poetry keeps the sparks flying. Poetry makes us happy. Poetry makes us sad. Poetry brings all the colors of the rainbow into our lives. Poetry makes our lives sparkle. Poetry makes our life live. Poetry is life.

Poetry comes to me like breathing. I inhale and breathe in the fragrances, flavors, emotions, sentiments, and feelings of people and places and breathe out poetry.

We have conversations with each other most nights - Sylvia Plath and me!

Your words swept me away in the river of your feelings!

We are hopeless romantics who still fall in love with words.

When I pour out my hurt and sadness into the typewriter do I then begin to realize that I have created poetry!

Poetry always makes sense. Nothing else does.

You resting your head tenderly on my shoulders while we sit below the old Oak tree. And we smile at each other and gaze lovingly at the fascinating sunset over the hills. This moment makes me feel completely alive as if we have reached not just cloud nine or ten but also cloud infinity!
