When a bad thought pops into your head it has no power. Thoughts are weak until you give them attention. Your attention makes them grow stronger. If you keep thinking those bad thoughts, they will consume your life. And when you let go of them, they will leave, fading away just as they came. Focus on the thoughts that make you happy. Focus on the positive and your positivity will grow stronger.

Don’t diminish the value of the good in your life by focusing on the negative. You may have a lot of bad in your life but you also have a lot of good. Appreciate what you do have.

You can spend your energy attempting to fix the negative or you can use your energy creating the positive. Focus less on fixing your life and more on enjoying your life.

We spend so much time focusing on what went wrong rather than focusing on what went right. If you want to cultivate a positive life, you must cultivate positive actions.

What is the central focus in your life? Is it a focus in love or in hate? A focus in the good or in the bad? What does your mind wander to in the quiet hours of the night? Change the way you focus on your life. Instead of focusing on your stress, sadness, and angry choose to focus on your peace, joy, and happiness.

Shift your focus from your fears to your dreams. Let the love, passion and utter awesomeness of your dreams guide you through life.

All the energy that you put into your life returns to you. Just as the energy spent on the good will return to you the bad will too. Do not focus on your misfortune. Focus on the good. Focus on your gratitude. Look to be grateful and you will always find something to be grateful for.

Overcoming your inferior emotions doesn’t begin with a focus on them. Look beyond the bad and into the good. The only way to live a happy life is to concentrate on what makes it happy, not what makes it unhappy. Focus on the good, it’s the only way to live.
