Everything great that ever happened in this world started from the imagination of the people. When a fiction becomes a reality, the person becomes a visionary.

When truths are frozen, Beliefs are born. Beliefs are not the same as truths just like a picture of a man is not the same as the man himself. Hence,belief does not represent reality which is complex and even changing like a living being.

In the long run, fictions create more frustration and anger in people since they get so addicted to it that they find reality quite boring and cumbersome.

Truth is important, but myths are equally important because they provide us the illusions that illuminate our lives. Unlike reality, which is to be accepted whether we like it or not, we can choose illusions which are beautiful and serve our purpose. Illusions are made beautiful because they are created to please us while truth is barren and purposeless. Truth is ‘what it is’ but myths are ‘what we want it to be,’ ‘what it can be’ or ‘what it should be’.

It is not easy to see the reality as it is because our vision is always coloured with our beliefs, we create our own world by choosing our beliefs.

Truth is transparent. It is powerless and colourless. It speaks about reality but can’t alter the reality. On the other hand, a lie which is spoken beautifully is powerful enough to alter the reality.

When we see the reality which can’t be explained by our existing faith and beliefs, we drop or modify our beliefs and try to understand the world by using our renewed beliefs. Our faith is not hard-coded but changes with time like a living entity.

It is only through self-knowledge that we can understand reality 'as it is'—a living force which is dynamic and changing with time. Bookish knowledge is like a photograph. It helps to identify the person amid many other human beings but does not have the quality of the ‘real’ person—because a living person has feelings and flexibility.

Ideals are like an image of reality at a given time from a given reality. Just like no photograph of a person can truly describe him, no ideal can represent reality as it is.
