We often think that only money, power and comfort give us gratification. But this is partial truth. We also feel happy when we play, work out, solve a complex problem or make a child smile by our love and affection. We enjoy success and hate failure, but there is hardly any success that is not preceded by failure. It is our failures that make our successes sweeter.

The right approach of life is, therefore, to neither keep your goals too low nor too high but find an optimum point so that your successes and failures are balanced in the right proportion.

Your conscience is not only the repository of your failures but also of your successes. It contains your vileness as also your goodness. The more good deeds you have performed in the past, the more happiness will be at your disposal all the time. You can always borrow some of that happiness when you are feeling low.

Once you develop awareness of the world and develop the habit of learning from your own successes and failures, each experience of yours will automatically teach you the rules of the game called life.
