Satan knows that God's Word is the foundation for all truth. If he can get us to question what God says, then he can deceive us into believing a lie.

Even if everyone around you is ditching purity, God will give you the strength to stand strong. Even if all your friends are having sex before marriage, you will know the value of saving it for marriage. Even if the women around you are marrying nonbelievers, you will understand the importance of waiting for a Christian man.

Where is this guy going in life? Does he have a kingdom mindset? Do we share similar passions for life? Could I support his vision as his wife and teammate? Would we make a better team together than apart?

Before you enter into a romantic relationship with any guy, I highly encourage you to ask yourself these three questions too. Is this guy a genuine Christian? Are we both mature enough to enter into a serious relationship? Could I see myself potentially marrying him?

We can use our words to build up or we can use our words to tear down. We can speak life or we can destroy. We can encourage godly leadership or we can diminish it.

Just because a guy is a Christian doesn't automatically mean he is a good fit for me (or that I am a good fit for him). Good marriages are built on more than two nice Christians getting married. Since the purpose of marriage is to glorify God and serve Him well together, I realized that I need to marry a guy with whom I could serve the Lord effectively.

God gives us different gifts and callings. The gift of marriage is not given to every woman, nor is the gift of bearing children. It is not a given that every woman will marry, or that married women will be able to bear children. What IS a given is that all women are called to be spiritually fruitful. The Lord wants all women... to have a "household" and be the "joyful mother of children".

For the first time in history, God said something wasn't good. Something was missing. God then pointed out the problem: "It is not good that the man should be alone".

Instead, view them as brothers in Christ and choose to love them in ways that genuinely bring God glory.
