Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou? / If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. (2 Samuel 22:3)

So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
