Like anything else, it will grow with time and as we continue to go through ups and downs. I'm always there for him, and he'll always know how I feel. We have a very trusting relationship.

Carson Palmer will be back, I don't think there is any question to that, but there are a lot more pieces to that puzzle and not just Carson. He's an integral part of it, trust me, but they've got a lot of pieces around him and with Marvin overseeing that defense they're going to continue to get better. It's going to a big-time rivalry for years to come.

We've been somewhat of a desperate team for a long time. I think we need to continue to play that way. Like I said before, we are still the same team that, seven weeks ago, not a lot of people were giving us a chance.

He is very much wanted back here. So we will continue to talk to make sure that he is comfortable with what his role will be.

We'll continue to keep our options open. But I feel good about the players we have.
