Risk is a necessary component of success.

Success is constant. Any time you achieve more than you did the day before, the year before; any time you add a piece to the framework that will someday determine your ultimate goal, you have achieved some degree of success.

No one has the power to keep you from achieving what God has promised but you.

People who base success on the here and now, have no hope for keeping it for long. True success takes on a life of its own. The beauty of that life is, it can be immortal. If you nurture, cultivate, build, and believe in the power of a successful life, it will live on well past the person who conceived it.

In a world dictated by “likes”, “followers”, Jordans, Red Bottoms, luxury bags, who’s got the “drip”, and driving high-priced cars, you have to look past all this “noise” in order to grasp what real, solid, generationally transferable success looks like.

Success and wealth are not loud. Those who attain success don’t put it on display. They understand that whether or not you are impressed by what you perceive as the trappings of success will not add one red-cent to their investments. Your approval does not earn interest.

Kobe figured it out. In the end, the only thing that will come across loud and clear is his legacy. And that, to me, is the greatest success imaginable.

In a relationship, prudent application of the gray theory is a key ingredient in assuring years of happiness; “till death do us part”. Balance is at the center of success, satisfaction and a lifetime of love.

Success is determined by how little time you have to worry whether others are criticizing you, while being too focused to address them if they are.
