I haven’t been very impressed lately.By people,or places,or the way someone said he loved me and then slowly changed his mind.

You read and write and sing and experience, thinking that one day these things will build the character you admire to live as. You love and lose and bleed best you can, to the extreme, hoping that one day the world will read you like the poem you want to be.

You have to stop carrying life like a burden. Life is not a burden. It’s not heavy to be alive. It’s weightless. It’s light as air. You’re just floating, a leaf through space, for a little while. You just have to learn to close your eyes more, or open them, when you can. You just have to learn to float with the current more, not fight against things. Change, movement, transitions ... you have to become one with the current.

I’d like to be an example of no matter how dark and thick and hopeless it feels, for years maybe, things can and will change.

i don’t love things enough. i love very little.it’s just one of many things i’m gonna change one day when things are different.

How does one know you’ve “made it”?You no longer feel like you have anything to prove to anyone. You have no regrets or resentments from the past, anger that you’re working from. No people you want revenge on or songs you want to sing in order to finally speak your mind. Instead, you work from a place of wanting to do the work only, without any attachment to the outcome.

so if you’d see me nowon these streetswhere I once imagined walking with youyou’d have a hard time recognising me.It takes a lot to run away.

... but I believe that music can change a life, because it changed mine.
