Think of tomorrow, the past can't be mended.

The Master said, “A true teacher is one who, keeping the past alive, is also able to understand the present.”(Analects 2.11)

Study the past if you would define the future.

Things that are done, it is needless to speak about; things that are past it is needless to blame.
