Plan B' might have been 'Plan A' all along.

Dreams were meant to be born, not just dreamt about.

The idea is to always be attempting things that are greater than who I am. Otherwise I will never be more than who I am. That is why I prefer the call of God over the plans of men, for the former is a call to the impossible and the latter is a summons to what I did yesterday.

I often think myself to be so ingenious that I don’t even realize that my own plans may actually be my own undoing. Therefore, I might be wise to realize that God’s plans undo what I’ve done that’s undoing me.

In many instances, the failures of my greatest schemes ultimately lead to the fulfillment of my greatest successes. Therefore, God will allow our most cherished dreams to perish so that we might turn and seek out His most cherished plans.

Most of the maps that I create go from the nowhere of where I am to the nowhere of what I think is a somewhere. For without God, my nowhere and my somewhere will not take me anywhere.

I presume to know the plans that God has for me, when far too often they are the plans that I’ve crafted. And once I’ve got them shaped just the way I want them, I go ahead and attribute them to God so that I can pursue them with a clear conscious. And while there are innumerable recipes for disaster, it’s hard to cook up one that’s more disastrous than this one.

Frankly speaking, I could care less if my plans succeed. However, I do care if God’s plans do. Therefore, none of myself and all of God is the plan.

We got where we are because our choices mapped the route and paved the road.
