There’s a really good chance that I’ve confused what I ‘need’ with what I ‘want.’ And if that’s the case, I’m looking for both in the wrong place.

I don’t wish for a perfect life, for in doing so I will have discarded the tremendous opportunities for great good that lay hidden in the greatest bad.

It’s not about being loved by people. It’s about loving them enough to do the right thing for them even though they may hate you for it.

Doing the right thing may come with enormous cost. However, the cost of not doing the right thing will cost me myself. And that is not a price that any of us can afford to pay.

Ethics are not the things that kill my fun. Rather, they are the things that keep me from getting killed by the things that I thought were fun.

To do something that’s just a ‘little bit less’ than the right thing is to do a whole lot of the wrong thing.

My rights do not include the right to do wrong.

Don’t think that trying to make something ‘right’ because you wish to engage in that which is ‘wrong’ is going to fool your conscience.

I would rather lose the battle to my enemy than lose my integrity in the way that I fought the battle with my enemy.
