We can say a thousand things and not do a single thing. And if that’s what we’re doing, we’re wasting everything.

There’s the old saying, ‘Actions speak louder than words.’ If that’s true (and I believe it is), maybe our first action should be to shut up, our second action should be to step up, and our third action should be to never give up doing either of the above.

Having a noble idea does not make me noble. Acting on a noble idea still does not make me noble. What makes me noble is to realize that nobility is simply putting others before myself and acting on that. And in that sense, we are all called to nobility.

An idea, regardless of how noble it might be, is only an idea until someone has the idea to act upon it.

As an action, deciding to sacrifice oneself is nothing more than deciding to restore who we are by turning against what we’ve become.

The time to act is not when everyone else does. The time to act is when everyone else has chosen not to.

Intent without action will leave every word that I use to describe my intent as empty and best never having been said.

It’s not that geese can fly. It’s that they choose to.

I disagree. Now is ‘not’ the time to take action. Now is the time to be thoughtful, reflective and prayerful. The action comes after that.
