Despite my best effort to make myself as large as absolutely possible, life will always be larger than me. That simple fact makes God not only a likelihood, but a necessity.

We think that we miss things because they are too small. But when it comes to God, I think that we miss Him because He is too big, for we assume that nothing that big would be interested in something as small as us.

If I make something as small as myself, it will never be as great as I need it to be in order to help me quit being as small as I've chosen to be.
