I spend my life attempting to create that which I cannot create. Therefore, that which I seek to create forever eludes me, leaving me either utterly frustrated or ever more adamant. Both lead to certain defeat. But if I am wise, this defeat will eventually lead me to the God who long ago created that which my hands cannot. And here I find rest in what I’ve dreamt of, and rest from the failed attempts to create it.

Do I make up some ‘god’ in my mind, or do I make up my mind to know God?

There are few things worse than wasting away in a prison that I myself constructed with such ignorance that I am helpless to escape my own construction.

Why is it that none of the things I construct ever make me feel safe? The answer lies in the fact that safety can’t be created. It can only be found. And the only thing I've found that’s never been created is God.

The more we construct lives that prioritize safety, the bigger the prison we construct around ourselves.

Vision is the ability to see through the dense mass of meaningless stuff that a visionless life has caused us to construct.

Eons ago, the creative genius of God foresaw that it would take the shattered pieces of my ‘yesterday’ to construct the sturdy portal to my ‘tomorrow.
