The most critical time in any battle is not when I’m fatigued, it’s when I no longer care.

I came to the end of myself fighting to birth the beginning of a dream. But what really brought me to the end of myself was that I was foolish enough to fight for a dream without including the God that had given it to me.

Maybe the reason that I always need to rest is that I’m constantly trying to create a place where I can rest. And once I rest in the fact that I can’t create a place like that, maybe I’ll finally look for the God who already has.

We tediously create calendars filled with empty duties, and then we foolishly let those calendars empty us.
