Hatred is the stuff that we turn on others because we turned it on ourselves first.

Hate is the baseness of our humanity rising against that very humanity.

Hate is the flawless boomerang. The harder I throw it, the harder it comes back.

To love those who hate us is to refuse to borrow their hatred.

Hating allows us to avoid the horrible risk of discovering that we might actually be able to love the thing that we purport to hate.

I will love or I will hate. And while it might be true that the former will demand everything of me, I can be certain that the latter will take everything from me.

I would suggest that the desire to love is always greater than the passion to hate. It’s simply that love demands vulnerability and hate does not. Therefore, too often we tend to love the easier choice to hate.

Hate feeds on itself, while love will always find itself fed.

The love hidden within is always greater than the hate displayed without.
