Start thinking for yourself, because if you don’t someone else will.

And when we stand in the middle of whatever wilderness happens to be ours, we look around and ask, what plan got us here and what plan will get us out? The former is likely the product of our ignorant contrivances, while the latter is a formulation of God's phenomenal genius. And have we ever considered that we might be in the wilderness because we’ve confused the two?

I can wait for life to shape me in whatever manner it chooses. Or I can shape me to make life whatever I choose.

The reason my life has wandered to nowhere is likely due to the fact that the focus of the moment has dictated the destination of my life, when the destination of my life should have been dictating the focus of the moment.

Sometimes our first questions are a product of our impulse rather than an expression of our thoughts.

Sometimes a journey forced is a journey wrecked.

Tomorrow’ is the thing that’s always coming but never arrives. ‘Today’ is the thing that’s already here and never leaves. And because that’s the case, I would much prefer to invest in today than sit around waiting for an arrival that’s not arriving.

Anything irreversible should be granted the ‘everything’ of our attention.

The weak-minded must experience the consequence of their actions to understand the foolishness of the choice. However, for the wise it’s not about avoiding consequences. It’s about choosing the right ones.
