If life’s bigger than any of us individually or all of us collectively, then there must be something bigger than us to walk us through it.

I cannot walk in obedience to what I think. Rather, I must walk in obedience to Who God is.

A real journey will demand that I put my shoes on, but then I’ve got to stand up and walk. And if I forget the second part, the first part doesn’t matter.

I do not walk into the storm unless I have been called into the storm. For the former is arrogance and the latter is obedience.
