Hate is the baseness of our humanity rising against that very humanity.

I respect your humanity far too much to play on your fears in order to play out my agendas.

Running into danger when another is at risk has nothing to do with being a hero. Rather, it has everything to do with being a human.

Contrary to popular opinion, we are all a vast brotherhood of human beings whose very survival hinges not on what we keep, but on what we give. And it is in the giving that we not only survive to live another day, but we thrive to celebrate another day.

Indeed, there is a deep melding of our humanity around a shared experience, and in that melding we find profound comfort knowing that we are not alone in the experience of it.

The person next to you is more similar to the person within you than you know.

If I can somehow focus on the pain of not focusing on my pain, I will soon find that pain healed simply because I forced myself to do the exact opposite of what my core humanity demanded I do…I sought to heal the pain of someone else instead.

The fullest manifestation of myself is achieved when I ignore myself in the service of everyone but myself. And although humanity might scream the insanity of such a statement, the real insanity is to believe that humanity is sane.

While the expression of our humanity might vary to degrees both large and small, the corporate essence of that humanity does not. Therefore, never let those borne of lesser agendas lead us to believe that I am not you, and you are not me.
