I admire animals, for they don’t question life. Rather, they just live it. And on that rare occasion when I reach that enviable place, I realize that I’ve been living a ‘task’ rather than living a life.

If I see only my bias, I have surrendered to a single myopic lens through which to view the world. If I dare to surrender my bias, I will spend the rest of my life seeing the world and throwing away lenses.

It would be wise to define ‘living’ as walking in the fullest expression of who I am, verses wallowing in the confines of who I’m not.

We are quick to surrender that which we deem as long dead, when God is quick to restore that which He deems as never really having lived.

We spend far too much time working to get through the moment to understand that life is a collection of moments. And if we don’t come to see the confluence of moments as the fabric of life, we will miss life while living the very moments that were supposed to create it.

Some of us are always waiting for life to begin. And I often wonder if life actually began a look time ago and we were too afraid to admit that it began.

Life is not about getting everything right, as much as it’s about working to live right.

If I’m not living this life in conjunction with God, I’m not living this life. Rather, what I’m doing is living the lie that I’m living this life.

The only thing that I fear about death is that it will occur before I’ve had the chance to really live. And it is Christmas that hands me the chance to live while it leaves death with no chance to steal any of that from me.
