Eons ago, the creative genius of God foresaw that it would take the shattered pieces of my ‘yesterday’ to construct the sturdy portal to my ‘tomorrow.

The script of tomorrow is being written by the pen of today. And we would be wise to remember that the pen of today cannot erase anything written by the pen of yesterday.

To dress up today in the threadbare garments of yesterday is to create an impoverished tomorrow.

A new day is not life inviting us to repeat the same failures that we experienced yesterday. Rather, it is life inviting us to embrace the lessons born of the failures so that the lessons will live to shape tomorrow, while the failures will lay buried securely in yesterday.

The tomorrow in my mind is often what I wish today would have been had I not been held hostage to the fears that my yesterday left me with.

For a true visionary, today started yesterday.

Yesterday sets the stage for tomorrow. Therefore, since today will soon become my yesterday, I would guess that a good time to think about my tomorrow might be before it leaves the confines of today.
