Let us not fall prey to the leaching negativity and rank pessimism that runs unleashed all around us. Rather, with the utmost determination we must bring ourselves to understand that these lies have been given legitimacy by people who thought themselves as powerless in the face of them, rather than recognizing that we have the power to rip the face off of them.

You are a world changer, for you can be nothing less. Whether that’s changing one life or a million lives, you come equipped to change everything that is less than what God designed it to be. And I know that you are a world changer because I have met tens of thousands of people, and in all of those many encounters I have yet to meet a person who is not.

Today’s headlines need not be tomorrow’s storyline.

A good book delivers a great message.  And while such a message should touch the reader in a good way, it must transform them in a great way.

If I am not transforming those around me it is because I have chosen not to transform that which is within me.

To pretend is to do nothing more than imagine life as something wonderful so that we don’t have to incur the pain that it takes to actually make life wonderful.

God is able to fix that which is broken so that what stands repaired is immeasurably greater than that which stood before it needed repair. Therefore, the most staggering brokenness conceivable is in reality the greatest opportunity imaginable.

The world is shaken by major events, but it is ‘transformed’ by slight subtleties. And while we may be far too small to create even one major event, we are just the right size to craft a thousand subtleties.

Hating allows us to avoid the horrible risk of discovering that we might actually be able to love the thing that we purport to hate.
