If we use the ‘pen of fiction’ to edit the ‘narrative of fact’ in order to justify our choices, we will soon discover that the pen is in fact a pencil.

Am I on a bold journey of lofty ascents, or am I sitting in a simulator of my own making?

What I’ve deemed as impossible is more the fiction I’ve created to avoid the failure I fear.

The ‘fact’ of my actions frequently collide with the ‘fiction’ of my words. And at what point will I live what I say, so I will avoid what I do?
