I did not make this day, but God did so that I might have the privilege of letting Him use it to make me.

The absence of God in our lives is a result of our absence of reason, for if He is absent it is because we requested it. So, to have an absence of reason that results in the absence of God leaves me absent of both.

If I rise above what people do to me and consistently strive to be the ‘bigger man’ despite the cost to me, I will never become what I dislike in others.

If there are not times in our life when we laugh so hard that we cry, we have become far more serious than life ever asked us to become.
