Frankly speaking, I could care less if my plans succeed. However, I do care if God’s plans do. Therefore, none of myself and all of God is the plan.

It’s a matter of time. That’s all it is. For God will allow mankind to fall to its own demise so that God can raise us up to His glory. For the farther the fall, the more miraculous the ascent.

If God has called you to something, the most ignorant question you can ask is “Do I have the ability to do this?” Conversely, the wisest question you can ask is, “When can we get started?

Too often, my vision stops at what I’ve become rather than what I was created to be.

If truth be told, the easy road is nothing more than an armchair in clever disguise. And if you look around, it seems that there are a whole lot of people in the furniture business.

Thinking that I’m a mistake is the real mistake.

I think that there’s real wisdom in leaving the old year behind you as you step into the New Year. However, if you’re foolish enough to leave the lessons behind as well, it won’t matter that you left the old year behind because you’re going to repeat it all over again anyway.

I spend a tremendous amount of time carefully choosing the roles I wish to play so that I can run from the role I was born to play. And if I keep on doing that, I will eventually set foot in my grave never having set foot on the stage.

If I’ve not determined a target for my life, then I have neither target nor bullseye. And maybe I’ve not determined a target because the bullseye is not to have one.
