It’s not that mankind is failing. Rather, it’s that mankind has failed to understand that failure is most often a choice based on the belief that we cannot succeed.

Failure is only failure if you focus on what didn’t work rather than focusing on what could if you did it differently.

To fall down is to face the weakness of my humanity, test the mettle of my character, and push the limits of my strength. Therefore, falling down will tell me who I am far more clearly than most things I might learn when I’m standing up.

As odd as it seems, the road to opportunity often has this huge sign that reads “Bridge Out.” Having ignored the sign and now finding myself laying flat on my back at the bottom of some ‘opportunity,’ I look up and wonder if the opportunity that I had was to learn what an opportunity is, and what it is not.

Failure is blessing wrapped in the clothing of curse.

The real promise in too many promises is a promise that I’m going to be disappointed.

I am likely to fail if I have determined the cost as too high or my intelligence as too low. Yet, if I think about it, the real failure rests in believing either of these to be true.

The road to success is paved with the hot asphalt of failure.

Without exaggerating the point, the difference between ‘what I should do’ verses ‘what I want to do’ is quite frankly the difference between success and failure.
