It’s never what stands around us. Rather, it’s always what resides within us.

Packaged inside of every mistake there lays a great lesson. And while I don’t want to take the mistake into the New Year, I most certainly want to take the lesson that’s packaged inside of it.

Life is not something to be “done.” Rather, it is something to be “lived.” And to confuse the former with the latter is to squander both.

To fully understand how utterly amazing we really are we must first understand all of the things about us that are not, and then we must make our habitation where they are not.

Maturity means being able to accept the fact that sometimes the things that we wish for will create the histories that we don’t wish for.

The best way to take control of panic is to turn your attention to seeking out and seizing the immense opportunities within it, rather than allowing it to seek out and seize the confidence within you.

Pain is the fire that steels the soul to better fight life’s battles and more deeply appreciate its beauty because of the battles. But maybe one of the greatest battles is being willing to live the beauty of this reality.

The question is not how many years I’ve lived. The question is how I lived those many years.

It is in the act of admitting our weaknesses that we are showing our strength.
