I have sat in the impossible places that existed leagues beyond the reach of the prose of men, the touch of friends, and the encouragement of family. And in these horribly famished places where hope languished and desperation ruled, I eventually fell to exhaustion and laid my life in the frigid embrace of an awaiting death only to find that instead I had fallen into the warm hands of a loving God. And while these words are the prose of yet another man, the hands that they speak of are not.

It is at the moment that we began to pray that the darkness begins to die.

God sees the child He created in the fool that sees neither.

The phrase “all is lost” only applies to those that are.

We would sit on the old glider swing, my Grandmother and I. And as people passed her broad front porch, she would point and say, “The best life you can live is when you touch at least one life a day for Jesus.” And today, I am writing this to touch you.

God poses no threat to me other than keeping me from being my own greatest threat.

How do I come to believe in God? Immerse yourself in the alternatives.

The cause for which I stand is the reconciliation of mankind with God. For if that cause is accomplished, all causes are accomplished.

God doesn’t want us to focus on what mankind has done, but on what He plans to do.
