Without morality and ethics there is no religion (dharma), the foundation of religion is morality and ethics.

When can one go to the final destination of the religion? You will be allowed there if you attain the attribute of forgiveness, otherwise you will not be allowed entry.

To perform one’s duty is not dharma. To not perform one’s duty is a crime. People do carry out their duties anyway, but to do so grudgingly is a crime.

To break chanchadta (unsteadiness, unstillness) with chanchadta (unsteadiness, unstill) is called relative religion.

It is human religion (manav-dharma) when you give happiness to others, you will receive happiness and when you give unhappiness to others, you will receive unhappiness.

If the other person makes a mistake, it has no value; but if a clash occurs (with someone), there are serious consequences. God does not exist where there is clash.

Where there is religion (religious following), there are no worries and where there are worries, there is no religion there.

Religion [dharma] is that where there is no irreligion (adharma, immorality). Religion cannot exist where there is irreligion. There can be only one or the other. Behind every intention, there is either [the force of] religion or [the force of] irreligion.

As long as anger-pride-deceit-greed (kashays – the ones that gives pain to soul) have not gone away, one has not attained vitraag’s (the enlightened one’s) religion in the slightest. The religion of the Enlightened One’s (Vitaraag Dharm) means absence of anger-pride-deceit-greed (kashays).
