It is very difficult to know the Living Conscious Self (Soul). What you have known is living non-conscious self. Living non-conscious self means mechanical self. Anger, pride, illusion, greed, attachment-abhorrence, mind-intellect-chit-ego are all mechanical self.

One forgets agnan (worldly knowledge) when he remains in Gnan (Knowledge of the Real Self, the Soul). Man can be in only one place.

Energy of pudgal [that which charges and discharges, complex of intake and output] is used in knowing the knowledge of ignorance based knowledge [agnan, all other knowledge other than knowledge of the self], and prayer is required to be done to know the knowledge of Gnan [Knowledge of the Soul, our Real Self].

Agnan (‘ignorance of the self’ based knowledge) takes one down and in that, the energies of the pudgal (non-Self complex, that which charges and discharges) keeps on coming. Whereas the Knowledge [self realized knowledge] that takes one higher, because it has to go against the pudgal [non-self complex], one will have to ask for the energy, only then can he go higher.

You do not have to get rid of (any) thing [vastu], just extract the interest [ras] out of it. The entire world is struggling to get rid of things. Things will not go away, they are preordained. Only the interest in them needs to be removed.

In worldly life, the difficulties are due to ignorance of the Self (aGnan). 'We' have never seen anything as a difficulty anywhere.

The one who attains the 'Akram' path, will have his spiritual work done. (On this path), you have neither been made to give up potatoes nor onions. All you have to give up is, the ignorance of the Self (agnan)!

Ignorance of the Self (agnanta) is indeed fear.

The present (time) is a very subtle thing. On one side there is the past and on the other side there is the future, and in the middle of this, in the subtle part, lies the present. It cannot be grasped by one who is ignorant of the Self (agnani), only a a Self-realized being (Gnani) can grasp it.
