Result of agnan (ignorance) is ego.

There is only this much difference between a Gnani (the one who is Self-realized) and an agnani (one without Self-realization). The Gnani is constantly in the natural state of the Self (Swa-parinati) and the agnani cannot remain in the natural state of the Self even for a moment. There is no other difference. The Gnani does not have any horns, He wears clothes too; the only difference is in the parinaam (result; internal state of being)!

The Knowledge that does not manifest into conduct; that is not Knowledge at all, it is ignorance (aGnan). Gnan [true Knowledge] is always bound to manifest into conduct.

The conduct [of today] is ignorance of the past [life] whereas understanding (samjhan) is the stock carried forward from many past lives!

The foundation of this world is indeed knowledge (gnan). It is on the basis of knowledge that living beings function! Is it Knowledge (Gnan) or ignorance (aGnan)? Ignorance too is knowledge indeed. It is the Gnani (the enlightened one) who has differentiated between the two. Otherwise, whatever knowledge a living being has, it simply functions according to that knowledge. Therefore, it is indeed knowledge that runs this world.

All the scriptures are written to know God. One has never attained God and has kept on wandering for infinite lives. Nothing can be resolved, unless one gets rid of his ignorance about his real Self. All this is imagination. The imaginary pictures which people have created (in their mind), there is no end to that imagination.

Freedom from agnanta (ignorance of the one’s own Real Self) is moksha (the ultimate liberation).

The whole world is indeed trapped by misery. What is the misery about? Due to ignorance of one’s own Real Self (agnanta). Due to ignorance of one’s own Real Self (agnanta), attachment-abhorrence (raag-dwesh) keeps on occuring, which leads to this misery. Only through Gnan [Knowledge of the Real Self] can one prevail in a misery-free state. There is no other solution at all.

God said that Moksha is in the palm of your hand, provided the ignorance of the Self (agnan) goes away.
